BASAR Policies & Participation Guidelines

BASAR is a calm, non-clinical environment created to support reflection, grounding, and subconscious integration. The following policies exist to protect the integrity of the space and ensure clarity for all participants.

  • BASAR provides non-clinical facilitation and self-guided experiences designed for personal reflection and internal awareness.

    • BASAR does not provide therapy, counseling, medical treatment, or psychological services

    • No diagnoses, assessments, treatment plans, or clinical interventions are offered

    • Services are experiential and reflective in nature

Participation at BASAR does not replace care from licensed mental health, medical, or emergency providers.

  • By booking or participating in a BASAR session, guests acknowledge and agree that:

    • Participation is voluntary and self-directed

    • Experiences may include silence, guided prompts, sound, tonal layers, subtle frequencies, or environmental cues

    • Individual responses vary, and outcomes are not guaranteed

    • Guests may opt out of any activity at any time

Guests are responsible for choosing what feels appropriate for them and for communicating personal comfort levels.

  • BASAR facilitators do not:

    • Provide crisis intervention or emergency support

    • Diagnose or treat mental health conditions

    • Offer medical or psychological advice

If a guest appears to need clinical or urgent support, BASAR may recommend outside resources or referrals.

    • Listening Sessions (one-on-one) require advance booking

    • Self-guided or facilitated experiences may be available as walk-ins, subject to availability

Session availability, duration, and structure are determined by BASAR and may vary.

    • A late cancellation is any cancellation or change made less than 24 hours before a scheduled session

    • Late cancellations and missed appointments are non-refundable

Guests may reschedule appointments with at least 24 hours’ notice, subject to availability.

Rescheduled sessions must be completed within the timeframe allowed by the booking system.

  • All services are non-refundable once delivered.

    No refunds are issued for:

    • Late cancellations

    • Missed appointments

    • Partial attendance

    • Discomfort arising from voluntary participation

  • To maintain a calm and intentional environment:

    • Shoes may be removed in designated areas

    • Silence or low-volume presence may be encouraged

    • Phones and personal devices may be limited during sessions

Guests are expected to respect the space, facilitators, and other participants at all times.

  • BASAR reserves the right to:

    • Refuse service when boundaries are not respected

    • End a session if safety, respect, or policy adherence is compromised

In such cases, refunds will not be issued.

  • Participation in BASAR services indicates understanding and acceptance of these policies.

BASAR is a non-clinical wellness space. Participation is voluntary and self-directed.
